Styling:

Last saturday we sat round a table at an undisclosed location in a warehouse. Sat around the table was myself (aka Big Dane), Tom (aka Mad Mike) and Danielle (aka That girl thats always on pimp my ride). Unfortunately Hannah was sunning herself somewhere! We suddenly found ourselves deciding what to put on the car, and before we knew it, we had started ganster leaning in our chairs, our trousers had become more baggy and were now being worn halfway down our legs, and we had started speaking with LA accents:

---------

Big Dane: "So, Electronics, Mad Mike, whaddaya gonna do?

Mad Mike: "Well, holmes, we gonna go all out on this one. We gonna hook ourselves up with state of the art UV interior lighting. Disco ball on the bonnet, color changing LED underlighting, and an X-rated starting system.

Big Dane: "Mmmm, x-rated?"

Mad Mike: "Yeah, I'm talking X-rated"

Big Dane: "Nice. So, interiors, where we at?"

Token Girl: "We going off the wall with this one girlfriend..."

Big Dane: (looks bemused).

Token Girl: "We gonna redo the interior with animal print, pimped up with curtains, red LED rope lights, maybe a chandellier and a gold dashboard."

Big Dane: "Nice, well we only got 3 months, so we better crack on..."

Below picture shows a spoiler which we got from a Nissan Primera for a fiver!

First Coats of Paint:

We are using a technique commonly used by Vdub enthusiasts. Using Tremclad paint (much cheaper than car paint) we can thin it significantly, and do about 7 coats to create a finish similar to spraying. Unfortunately I think this only holds true if you don't saw wood near it.

In addition, painting the spoiler on the grass was a mistake. It turns out that at around 7pm, its a haven for bugs who love to roll around in gold paint.

Interior - Pimped up to the Max! We still need to do the seats in tiger print and the curtains!

Interior Before!

Custom Rear Skirt - Makes it look lower with just a piece of plywood! Might keep the wood finish, makes it look posher like a rover (ahem)!
